Actually, Sajid Khan was battling cancer for a long time and finally said goodbye to the world at the age of 70. He was laid to rest at the Kayamkulam Town Juma Masjid in Alappuzha district of Kerala. The actor's death was confirmed by his son Sameer. He told news agency PTI that he was battling cancer for some time. He died on Friday 22 December. The son also told that his father was living in Kerala with his second wife. Sameer also said that his father was adopted by Rajkumar Pitambar Rana and Sunita Pitambar and raised by filmmaker Mehboob Khan.
