Subhash Ghai working with Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor after 31 years
On the big screen, once again the pair of Ram-Lakhan i.e. Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor will be seen together. Filmmakers Subhash Ghai, Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor are going to make a film. Subhash has also revealed the name of the film. It will be a comedy film where Jackie and Anil will be seen in the role of police. It is known that Subhash Ghai made the film Ram-Lakhan with Jackie and Anil which was released in 1989. Now all three are working together after 31 years.
In an interaction with E-Times, Subhash Ghai said, 'Yes, the three of us are planning a murder mystery comedy film together. The film will be produced under the banner of Mukta Arts Ltd. and the title of the film will be 'Ram Chand Kishan Chand'. Both Jackie and Anil are playing police roles at the age of 60. Jackie is very excited for this and Anil is as cautious as ever.
Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor had hinted about the upcoming project on their social media handle a few days back. Anil Kapoor shared his video on Instagram, in which he was seen running on the beach. Commenting on this, Jackie Shroff shared a fire emoji.
Anil responded to Jackie's comment and wrote, 'Get ready for our next film. The team is working on it. Jackie shared a screenshot of this conversation by sharing a video of her, in which she is seen thumbs up while replying yes. In the caption, he wrote, 'I am eagerly waiting for my luck'
Subhash Ghai’s ‘Ram Lakhan’ starred Jackie Shroff as Ram and Anil Kapoor as Lakhan. It also featured Dimple Kapadia and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. Rakhee Gulzar played Ram and Lakhan's mother, while Amrish Puri played the main antagonist.
Anil Kapoor Said "For me fitness is a way of life. It is my daily routine. I cannot operate without exercising regularly or doing something for my fitness: I do yoga, running, sprinting, weights. I also do planks. I can't go to work without it as it makes me positive. I feel very cranky, uncomfortable, my heart isn't into work (if I don't exercise)," the actor said in an earlier interview.
On the work front, Tiger Shroff and his father Jackie Shroff were recently seen together in the film Baaghi 3. It was the first time that the father-son duo shared the screen space. Jackie will next be seen in Prabhudheva’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ starring Salman Khan and Disha Patani in lead roles. It also features Randeep Hooda in a pivotal role.
On the work front, Anil Kapoor was last seen in the film Malang. The 2020 release also starred Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Kemmu.
He will be seen next in Anees Bazmee's "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", starring Karthik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu. The film is a follow-up to Priyadarshan's 2007 horror comedy "Bhool Bhulaiyaa" that starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. on the other hand, will next be seen in Shekhar Gupta’s ‘Mumbai Saga’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’.
